Would you like to be Sensitive and Thriving?

I trust you are having a wonderful start to April.

I recently sat down with a dear friend, Karin Amali  who works specifically with parents and she shared with me some very practical ways we can foster our children’s (and anyone else’s for that matter!) trust in themselves.

As the mother of two children, I sometimes find myself giving advice. However, I also know that there is a massive downside to thinking that I know what is right for anyone else, especially my children.

Why? Because the more that I offer advice, the more I cultivate distrust in their own wisdom and cause them to instead look to those in perceived authority for the “right” thing to do. Over time, this leads to a loss of confidence and a disconnection with their own inner knowing.

Conversely, we can instead trust their journey and encourage them to listen to what is uniquely right for them – no matter what age they are.

In this video, Karin shares a wonderful method of doing just that. I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did.
